This is a list of DVDs of the Marx Brothers. The first DVDs were the five Paramount movies published in 1998 by Image Entertainment under license from Universal.
It seems that in the eyes of Universal they did sell the DVDs too cheaply and the distribution rights were not renewed when they ran out.
For some time no title was in print until the release of Room Service in Spain and A Night In Casablanca in Spain and Australia.
Then several movies were published in Brazil.
At the end of 2003 some of the Paramount movies were released in Europe and Australia and all five Paramount movies were available from Taiwan.
I am not sure whether any of the Brazilian and Taiwanese releases were licensed.
In May 2004 Warner Home Video released the MGM movies for Region 1, including A Night at the Opera, A Day at the Races, Room Service, At the Circus, Go West, The Big Store and A Night in Casablanca; see below for more details. This box also became also available in other countries sometimes without 'Room Service'.
Universal Studios released the first five movies in November 2004 in The Marx Brothers Silver Screen Collection (see below), which also includes a disc of bonus material.
Since mid 2005 all movies have been available in many countries, the last to be released being "Room Service" and "A Night in Casablanca".
